device playable environment api fps resolution settings notes
💻 M1: MacBook Pro 13" 16GB yes Rosetta 2 50-60 FPS 2560 × 1600 Default settings at native resolution. Runs smooth, seems like it was between 50-60 FPS. Runs great while playing, however it crashes when quitting the game from the start menu. Steam
💻 M1: MacBook Pro 13" 8GB yes Rosetta 2 60 FPS 1440 × 900 Setting set to high. Played for a couple hour and saw pretty consistent 60fps, with some minor dips here and there. No controller support, but keyboard and mouse work great. Installed the 32 bit Mac version from Steam running under Rosetta 2. Runs fine. Crashed once on exiting the game. Steam

60 FPS 2560 × 1600 Steam
💻 M1: MacBook Pro 13" 16GB yes Rosetta 2 2560 × 1600 everything maxed out smooth, Steam tells me it doesn't support 32-bit but it runs fine Steam
💻 M1: MacBook Pro 13" 8GB yes Rosetta 2 2560 × 1600 Default. No major standouts of bad performance. Runs smoothly even with complicated particle effects on screen. Rosetta at its best; forgot I was even "emulating" the game. Until I tried to exit, that is., Game freezes/crashes when you try to exit. twitter Steam
